OK, I promised there would be a new card by morning, and my clock says 12:37 a.m., so technically that is morning. You can see the newest card I made for Nikki, who I wrote about yesterday. I'm still counting on y'all to make a card for this young lady (or two or two dozen...whatever you think you can do!).
Here are the details for this one:
Stamp: A Little Bit of Happiness
CS: Pink Passion, Gable Green, Green Galore, Lavendar Lace, Whisper White
Inks: Jet Black Staz-On, Lavendar Lace
Accessories: Stylized Flowers Cuttlebug Folder, SU! Markers, dimensionals, ric-rac from Target Dollar Spot
So, let me give y'all the inside scoop on that little popped-up piece you see on the card. I was coloring my image in (initially I stamped using Basic Black ink), and when I went to color in the background on that piece, for some reason the black ink bled into the blue. Really, really badly. So much so that I wanted to cry. However, recognizing the "chance for embellishment" and living by my motto that there isn't anything that has been done that I can't undo (at least in Stamping World) I decided to stamp that one panel again, this time using Staz-On, recolor it, and pop it over the original.
Voila'! Problem solved!
So, that is all for now...until I see y'all again, Happy Stamping!

This is freaking adorable!! I have had trouble with that basic black bleeding too. The Brilliance inks are great too. I hear Adirondack is also, but mine is on order and so I haven't tried yet, I'll let you know. I love the colors you used - very peaceful and pretty.
And as a little child who was growing up in the 70's - THIS GIRL LOVES SOME RICK RACK!
Bravo. And thanks for Nikki, sweet lady!
